2021 Welcome Back Summer Pool Party & BBQ!
Summer is here and it's time to bring back the FUN!
Great Outdoor Members are invited to attend our
Welcome Back POOL PARTY on Saturday, July 3 from 3:00 pm – 9:30 pm.
Registration for this event will close on July 2 - sign up NOW.
This party will have a Registration Fee of $8 for all members. We have a capacity of 40 for this event. Grilled Hamburgers & Hot Dogs will be provided plus of course tasty side dishes! And a dessert or two!
If you would like to bring a non-member, they will need to first join as a member online and they must register online for this pool party.
All attendees must register individually and pay the event registration fee. Once all of the requirements are met, you will be furnished the event address prior to the event.
This pool party will be at a member's home in Huntington Beach.
The address will be included in the e-mail reminder That email reminder will be sent to you on Thursday, July 1.
BBQ will include burgers (including vegan) and hot dogs, side dishes and desserts. We'll also provide a variety of soft drinks and bottled water. If you want to drink "adult beverages," please BYOB.
Schedule
Saturday, July 3
- 3:00 pm - Begin to Arrive (Pool, Drinks and Make Merry!)
- 5:00 pm - Meal, including Vegan Options with Desserts
- 9:00 pm - Departure
What to Bring: Towel, swimsuit, suntan lotion, folding chair, flip-flops.
It is the July 4th Weekend - Let's do this right!

Helpers: We need TWO cooks (man the BBQ grill - no experience required) and ONE set-up helper who can arrive at 2:00 pm. The Helpers will have courtesy admission.

This event includes indoor activities, including the use of restrooms, changing rooms and the kitchen, so the Great Outdoors COVID policy on indoor events will apply.
Due to COVID indoor event restrictions you must:
- Be a GO member to attend this event (you may become a member - click here); and
- Have completed a COVID vaccination +14 days; and
- Not attend if feeling ill, have any symptoms of COVID and/or test positive for COVID within 14 days of the event; and
- Contact the event leader if testing positive for COVID within 14 days of the event;
Refunds - There are no refunds for this event. However, we do request that, if you are unable to attend, cancel your registration so someone on the wait list might be able to attend in your place.
