24th Annual Tour de Palm Springs

You are invited to join  Great Outdoors members who will be riding either the 10 mile route or the 25 mile route. You need to register and pay at the Tour de Palm Springs website. Online Registration Deadline: Tuesday, Feb 8, 2022 at 5:00 PM 

Meet at the Marilyn Monroe statue on Museum Way as follows:

  • 8:30 am for the 25 mile route
  • 9:30 am for the 10 mile route.

Wear your Great Outdoors Pride shirt. If you don't have one, we will provide one.





You can check in and get your course tag from the Tour de Palm Springs booth on Palm Canyon among the vendors for this event.

  • The 25 mile registration fee is $75.  Departure 9:00 am.
  • The 10 mile registration fee is $35.  Departure 10 am

Vendor Expo: On South Palm Canyon between Ramon and Tahquitz.
Friday: Noon – 8pm
Saturday: 6 am – 5 pm

  • The Tour de Palm Springs is one of the largest cycling charity events of its kind in America.
  • Every year, we entertain 6,000 to 10,000 cyclists from 46 different states and 4 countries. Since 1998, and with the help of 2,000 volunteers, the Tour de Palm Springs has distributed nearly $4,000,000.00 to over 150 local nonprofit organizations.
  • Registration and Vendor Expo: Open Friday, February 11th (12 to 8), and Saturday, February 12th (6 to 5)
  • Location:  South Palm Canyon Drive between Tahquitz and Baristo
  • Entertainment:  Over 20 bands will play throughout the event and route rest areas
  • Finish Line: Cyclists are greeted by nearly 100 cheerleaders including large marching bands
  • Start Line:  Cyclists will exit into the streets alongside Palm Springs High School Spirit of the Sands band members
  • Start Area: Cyclists will exit alongside “First Responder Vehicles” surrounded by hundreds of American Flags 
  • Route Support: Over 20 vehicles will support cyclists along the routes (Thank you, to our sponsor  Renova Energy)
  • Communication: 25 RACES HAM radio operators will be standing by for stranded cyclists 
  • Rest Stops7 food stops will be set up with band concerts entertaining cyclists.
  • Sag Foods: include hot pasta, burritos, wings, pizza, and pb&js. See full menu HERE (Menu may change due to COVID-19).
  • Volunteers: Over 2,000 volunteers will pour their hearts out to give cyclists a wonderful experience

COVID NOTE:  The current county/city guidelines indicate masks are recommended outside when social distancing is not possible.  We request participants wear masks at the start line and will provide PPE items for your personal use.   Our goal is to provide a safe environment for all riders/walkers for the 2022 event.
