Saturday Gay Funday - Our Big Gay Picnic is back!  Start summer with a free urban hike of Echo Park’s secret staircases and historic Victorian homes - a walking loop of hidden gems of Los Angeles, topped with an elevated view of Echo Park Lake.

After we’re done, we return to scenic Echo Park Lake for our Big Gay Picnic! Bring a picnic blanket/mat for the lawn, your lunch or food to share, games, and enjoy the day with friends, old and new. Optionally, there’s Beacon for takeout - the lakeside brunch cafe (avo toast, lattes, sandwiches), but you might be waiting a while.

Come enjoy the Great Outdoors. Bring a friend, learn about our upcoming hikes & campouts, play games, people-watch and lounge by the lake. Everyone's welcome!
