LA - Long Beach Beach Party 2019

Join your friends in Great Outdoors and other So Cal GLBT affinity groups for a beach party afternoon on Saturday, July 20th from 1:00 PM on at Long Beach’s Rosie’s Dog Beach, across from the Claremont Place beach parking lot, at 5400 East Ocean Blvd, Long Beach.

We will have a few grills to cook the food you bring to share with others, as well as some soft drinks, munchies, beach games, etc. What we need from you is for you to bring a fun attitude, some food and drinks to share, and perhaps some fun games if you have them. Chairs, beach towels, etc, Frisbee, cornhole, boogie boards, whatever. EZE-Up Sun Shelters would be nice to bring if you have one or two. Bicycles are available for rent as well, or you can bring your own. Beach bike paths are adjacent to the parking lots.

Across the street, kayaks are available to rent from KayakRentals.net. Kayaks cost $12/hr/rider and are prorated after the first hour. No reservations needed.

We ask that you register on the event listing for GreatOutdoors, or if you are actually coming, indicate on the Facebook event page so we know how many to expect. Fun friends are welcome. Note-- even though this is called Rosies Dog Beach, dogs are only allowed inside the designated 4 acre area well west of where our event will be located, so you may want to leave the dogs at home.
