865 Mozumdar Drive, Crestline, CA 92325

The Mozumdar Temple was built by an Indian-born spiritual leader Akhay Kumar Mozumdar. Mozumdar, whose name means “Son of God” was born in 1864 in India. He was once a powerful teacher, lecturer, and writer of the New Thought Movement in the U.S. in the early to mid 1900’s. Today the camp is owned and operated by the Unification Church who will be providing lunch.

Join us on this walking tour led by historical contributors, Jeffrey Carman.

Lunch will include two curry dishes–meat and vegetarian.

The walking tour will begin at the Pillars of God and ends at the Temple of Christ; Participants should be able to walk up and down hills in a variety of terrains.

This will not be a GOLA event only – the Rim of the World Historical Society is hosting this tour and lunch and event is open to public.
