We meetup at the Whitewater Preserve parking area and shuttle cars to the Mission Creek parking area, and trailhead. From Mission Creek's Preserve's historic Stonehouse, we hike up the West Fork Trail two miles to the Pacific Crest Trail, proceed past Red Dome to the canyon bottom.... crossing the Whitewater River.... to the Canyon View Loop Trail .... leading to Whitewater Preserve Ranger Station. This is a well-maintained trail with total elevation gain/loss of approximately 600 feet.
