Bicycle Ride in Griffith Park and Los Angeles River Bike Path

We will meet at the Los Angeles Zoo free parking lot on Zoo Drive at 11:00 AM.  This trip has no hills and anticipated mileage is 15 miles round trip.  This is a fairly easy bike ride with great views of Glendale and the LA River along the way.  The half-way point is at the outdoor Bicycle Spoke Cafe in Frogtown (Elysian Valley) where we can stop for coffee or brunch at 12:30 PM or so.

Attendance to this event is open to ALL!

Bring lots of water, sunscreen, and money for brunch break.  Riders are strongly encouraged to wear a helmet on all bike rides and inflate their tires to the correct pressure.  Please be prepared to address any breakdowns on your own.  Bring a spare inner tube, tire pump, repair kit, ability to call Lyft/Uber, etc.  The trip leader/group may not have the capacity to repair your bike.  Participants are also expected to bring their own first aid kit appropriate for the event.  Thanks for your understanding.
