Registration

  • This will reserve you a spot at the park, pay for the site upon arrival at the park ($44 per night)
  • This will reserve you a spot. Pay The $25 per night fee when you arrive at the park. This for a driver staying in a tent.
  • There is a Motel at the location, Motel by the Sea.
    You can contact motel to reserve.
  • Meet us at the RV park at 9 am
  • If you have made arrangement to ride with a driver, register here as a passenger. GO does not arrange any rideshare.

4x4 Plus. Many nearby interesting areas to explore This is a new camp located in Salton City on the West side of the Salton Sea. Full RV hookups.  Tent sites available. West Shores Marina & RV Park: Map click here

Register here to reserve a spot, flat rate: $10. Open to nonmembers. This is 4 days and 3 nights.

When you arrive at the park, go the the office to check in and pay for your site. Our special group rate is $44 per night.  Tent site is $25 per night. Nearby Motel by the Sea , rate $144 per night. Contact the motel to reserve, only a few rooms available, act soon if needed. 

Equipment Requirements:

4-wheel drive high clearance vehicle with transfer case, tow attachment points, recovery strap, trail rated tires, a spare tire and a full tank of gas. Bring water and lunch - or snacks for the trail.

Drivers are welcome to bring passengers. GO does not arrange rideshares. Passengers that made arrangements with drivers can register as passenger.

Thursday Jan 4  

9 am or whenever your arrive , go to your assigned site. Check in at office when open

12:30 pm Trail Run: Old Naval Sea Base at the South end of the Salton Sea (14 miles south) or Calcite Mine

6 pm Meet and greet at site 83. Bring appetizer to share and your beverage. The Cafe is closed on Thurs.  There are restaurants at Travel Center nearby. 

Friday Jan 5

7 am Coffee and continental breakfast 

9:30 am Gather for trail run*

6 pm Group dinner at the local onsite cafe

Saturday Jan 6

7 am Coffee and continental breakfast 

9:30 am Gather for trail run*

Sunday Jan 7    Check out.
