Great Outdoors-LA - Fun at the Floats!

There is nothing like the pageantry and spectacle of the Rose Parade. See the floats up close the night before the parade. 

2024 ROSE PARADE THEME:

“Celebrating a World of Music: The Universal Language” 

When: December 31, 2023, 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Where: We will meet on the northwest corner of Pasadena Ave & Bellefontaine St. and then walk over to Orange Grove Blvd where the floats will line up. You will probably have to park some distance and then walk over. Pamela Wegner will be holding a Great Outdoors sign.

Navigation: The Californian - Pasadena at 120 Bellefontaine St, Pasadena, CA 91105 is close to the meeting place.  The surrounding streets are barricaded from traffic.

Check the weather report and dress warmly. Rain cancels.

For a truly memorable ticketless opportunity for pre-parade viewing on Orange Grove Blvd. from 8 pm - 3 am the floats roll in and line up for the next day’s parade.  We will find a party atmosphere, with couples, large groups, and families mingling up and down the boulevard.
