This campout focuses on the Morro Bay car show. This car show is more than just an event; it’s a celebration of community spirit. Each year, it brings together classic car enthusiasts while supporting local businesses, charities, and organizations. With a focus on creating an inclusive and fun experience, thus fostering a sense of togetherness throughout Morro Bay and beyond. WHERE: Cerro Alto Campground. 13741 Cerro Alto Road, Atascadero, CA 93422.The city of Atascadero is off Highway 101, while Morro Bay is off Highway 1 from SLO. The campground is conveniently located on Highway 41, between Atascadero and Morro Bay, typically a 15 to 20-minute drive from either location. It is located in the Los Padres National Forest, and it is a dry camp with pit toilets scattered across the grounds. There are water spigots available for use as well. Signal is spotty, so make sure to message the trip leader ahead of time before heading over. .
CAMPING FEES: Members: $75/person...........Non-members:$100. Other fees, such as zoo entrance fees or lake activity fees, are not included. Non-member fees will include GO membership. Carpooling is highly encouraged as parking is limited. .
WHEN: The campout starts on April 30th, check-in at 1500, to May 3rd, check-out at 1200. Friday check-ins are also allowed. The trip schedule is seen below. The following activities can be done as a group or peel off on your own.

The times for these listed activities are just a guesstimate. Some activities may take longer or shorter depending on the group. Zoo entrance fee ($15) and lunch is pay your own. Other activities available in A-Town are hiking, thrifting, fishing, and paddling. Another alternative is visiting DT Paso Robles, wine & beer tasting, and shopping. There is also a mission in San Miguel. Just sayin'.

Who's ready to SCREAM!!! We'll be doing fun meetup at Knotts Berry farm to get some steps in while moving from ride to ride and even catching Peanuts characters on the walkways. We will be meeting inside the park entrance just to the right when you walk in underneath the roller coaster columns from the Silver Bullet (red and yellow track with grey/white columns).
Event Specific Challenges (stairs, animals, allergens): large crowds, possibly long lines for rides
Parking Information: daily parking at the park is $40 so public transit, carpooling, and alternative parking options are recommended
Costs involved: Daily tickets at the park run $110, but if you purchase online in advance you can purchase tickets for as low as $65

USC ONE Archives Visit

Join us to learn about the history of Great Outdoors from when we began in 1978 to today, including our founders and historical chapters across California and beyond!
Day of Schedule:
10:00am USC One Archive Visit
12:00pm Lunch (on own or as group)
11:30am Urban Walk through USC Campus (1.1 miles, ~30min)

Potential Urban Walk Information: This hike from the ONE Archive at USC to lunch. This urban walk is expected to take 30mins at a generous pace.
Parking: USC's ONE Archive has a free private parking lot, so anyone coming directly to the archive will be fine. If you plan to park at the archive, and walk to and back from the exhibition on campus, there shouldn't be a problem with parking. If anyone is planning to park near the exhibition on campus following the archive visit, however, that would likely be rather difficult and expensive.
Cost: Free for Archive visit
Time Commitment: Plan for approx 3-4 hours
Dogs: No animals allowed.
Health Problems/Allergies: It is the responsibility of participants to carry on their person a record of significant allergies, medications and medical history in the event of a medical emergency. Discuss any medical concerns with a trip leader if you wish.
